In addition to being the northernmost town in Palm Beach County, Jupiter and Juno Beach booming with style, flavor, and an atmosphere unlike the rest. Although it is safe to assume that most Floridan cities near the Atlantic will mimic this cool, Caribbean vibe,Jupiter and Juno Beach differ in their appreciation for the little things.

Let’s wait no further! Here are our Top Spots in Jupiter and Juno Beach, Florida.
Downtown Abacoa/Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium
If you’re looking for a place with cute boutiques and a variety of dining options, Downtown Abacoa may be your perfect getaway. There are always plenty of community events like food truck invasions and block parties, which makes this stop a family favorite.
There’s also a stadium in Abacoa! Our family is full of some HUGE baseball fans (specifically the Tampa Bay Rays- WOO!) Anyways, we knew we’d have to add this gem to our list. Whether you’re an avid sport fan or just someone in it for the experience, grab your squad and make a trip out to the Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium. As the host to 4 minor league teams and the host to 2 major league teams during spring training, there is always a game to be seen. Don’t mind me if I start singing, “Take me out to the ball game!”
Carlin Park Beach
Why travel all the way toJupiter and Juno Beach and not visit the BEACH? There are many beaches to choose from, and we will tell you they are all worth a visit. Our favorite beach is Carlin Park – free parking and dogs friendly. We normally pack a cooler with plenty of water and subs before heading there. If you’re feeling anxious about what can be pretty big Atlantic ocean waves, make sure to talk to the Lifeguards to know what to expect. Grab your beach chair and hat, and enjoy!
With a tag line like “One Place. So Many Reasons.” you won’t be surprised to see that Harbourside Place is a must stop for some shopping and dining, and even staying with the Wyndym Grand Jupiter only a few feet away from the outdoor amphitheater where live music happens 3 nights out of the week. whether you’re staying in Harbourside Place or just passing through (by boat or by car), make sure to walk the elegant paths showcasing over a dozen shops and dining at one of their luxurious restaurants. We chose Calavera Cantina, a Mexican inspired sit down restaurant. You MUST order their guacamole and chips made right before your eyes! Delicioso!
Square Grouper Tiki Bar
Feeling hungry? In this city full of boaters and beach goers, it is no surprise that a local favorite would be a place you could eat fresh sea food on a chair in the sand. Upon entering our next must see spot, you’ll asked for ID, as this tiki bar is unlike others on the same block. At The Square Grouper Tiki Bar, only 21 or older guests are permitted – no kids. no pets.
We met with Manager Danielle who told us all about this major must see’s humble beginnings in the Jupiter and Juno Beach community. This community favorite started as a small bait shop where fishermen would just come for a hot dog and a drink out of a cooler; it eventually turned into what it is today – a relaxed, laid back tiki bar for 21+. With two locations, what sets the Jupiter location apart is the beautiful dock, which unfortunately the Fort pierce location does not have.
From sandwiches and burgers to daily specials, the menu is full of delicious options. We asked Restaurant Manager Danielle which menu items we had to try. She recommended the shrimp tacos, the overloaded nachos, the chubby cuban, and the mahi-mahi sandwich. In addition to the food and music, The Square Grouper encourages their guests to walk away with something to remember them by. Their mini shop is full of T-Shirts, hats, bottle openers, and other great souvenirs to bring home.
Between the delicious food items and the sand floor, it’s no surprise we spent hours at this spot. We’d like to thank Danielle and her team for showing us around and treating us like family. We will definitely be back to the Jupiter and Juno Beach area.
The Loggerhead Marine Life Center
Alongside Public Relations/Communications Coordinator Hannah Deadman, we toured the facilities and fell in love with the heart of this place. Loggerhead Marine Life Center is a sea turtle hospital located in Juno Beach, Florida. In addition to being a hospital, they’re also an Ocean conservation hub, educational facility, and a research laboratory. And the best part! You and your family can visit Loggerhead for no cost at all. It’s free!
Outside you’ll find giant tanks with a recovering turtle in each. Hannah told us about how these are their hospital beds where they receive treatment, along with inside the hospital itself. It’s a great viewing experience. Each turtle has a name and story, so you can easily spend some time getting to know these cuties. Sea turtle patients come to Loggerhead Marine life Center in a variety of ways:
- Someone will call Loggerhead Marine Life Center
- Drop off a hatchling (baby turtle) in their 24 hour Hatchings Drop Off Cooler
- FWC brings them
If you’re really digging this, know that you can spend a few weeks interning, which is a great opportunity for upcoming scientists to gain knowledge in either veterinary sciences or biological research in their in-house labs. Loggerhead also conducts monthly beach cleanups! Although they primarily serve sea turtles, their motto is that sea turtles are the gatekeepers to knowing the health of our ocean, and essentially, our world.
John D. MacArthur State Park
If you’re looking for a place to experience the beautiful, sunny weather and walk or sail through nature, look no further than the Jupiter and Juno Beach area. Between the martime hammock, estuary, beach and dune, and limestone rock reef, you could make a full day out of this stop. Upon arriving, we suggest you visit the Nature and Welcome Center, where you’ll be greeted by a friendly and eager staff. The beach, gift shop, nature trails, and playground are only a few of the amazing things to experience. In addition, we recommend you bring your kayak and paddle to Munyon Island, before settling at a picnic pavilion for some lunch. For more, check out their promotional video by clicking here.
